We take reasonable and appropriate precautions to protect our information technology and data. For legitimate business purposes, we monitor the use of our information technology as necessary and required by law.

Our technological equipment and systems are essential to our business operations, containing valuable corporate information, databases, research, business communication, and records. We take cybersecurity threats seriously and are dedicated to protecting our systems and data. All colleagues actively participate in safeguarding Bausch + Lomb’s data by completing required education and training, protecting user accounts, identifying and reporting malicious email messages, using only approved software and services and recognizing and reporting attempts to breach our systems.

  • Everyone is responsible for cybersecurity and participates in initiatives designed to reduce risk within the company.
  • We ensure our data is protected whether we are working from the office or home or on portable devices or using wireless networks.
  • We all are vigilant in protecting the security of our electronic information and systems.

  • We create and regularly update strong passwords and use multi-factor authentication whenever possible.
  • We report any suspected cybersecurity threats or incidents quickly to the IT Help Desk.
  • We follow security protocols when using personal devices for work purposes.
  • We ensure third party vendors comply with our security requirements when they have access to company systems or data.
